Nice short Interview and Special with Amsterdam Graffiti OldSchool Writer Amer aka Demn of RTL and TVK Crew

"Where and when did you start writing?"

I started writing in 1980 in Amsterdam, graffiti was only about tags back than and a thing from the punks and hoolies, i was introduced by my nephew who was already all city writer than, he wrote Dr Smurry My First piece i did in 1985, i saw Style Wars and like many others it changed my life!

What were the first names you seen up back then?

When i started tagging, people like Dr Smurry, Dr Air, Tarantula, Ego among many others and the first pieces mid 80’s by the usa/ctk crew and Seen, Blade and Quick who came to Amsterdam in thoose early years for a gallery show. Quick left his mark in the city whith hughe throw ups, and Blade

and Seen did some great pieces back than in the Vondel park."
